Mosquitos
Mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus, spraying for adult mosquitoes tonight, Wednesday 7/17/2019 in some areas between 9:00 PM and 12:30 AM. A sample of Culex mosquitoes collected from the area have tested positive for West Nile virus ( https://www.cdc.gov/westnile/index.html ). The District will be making an application targeted for adult mosquito control with ultra-low volume (ULV) applications of registered insecticides to reduce the number of adult mosquitoes in the area where the mosquitoes were collected. Weather permitting the application will be made tonight, Wednesday, July 17th between 9:00 PM and 12:30 AM.
